Partner FAQ
Is there a cost to join?
No. The partner program is free to join at the Entry tier. Higher tiers unlock automatically based on referral volume — you never pay to upgrade.
When do I get paid?
Commissions are held for 45 days (to cover the refund window) and then paid out monthly via Stripe. Minimum payout is $50. No minimum for Gold partners.
What products earn commission?
All self-service token purchases and done-for-you migration services purchased through your referral link earn commission. The free scan doesn't count — commissions only trigger on paid purchases.
How long does the referral cookie last?
90 days. If your client clicks your link and purchases within 90 days, you earn the commission.
Can I white-label the product?
Gold partners can white-label the migration report (your logo appears instead of ours). The product itself isn't white-labeled — it runs as LegacyLeaps. Gold partners can bill clients at whatever rate they choose and use LegacyLeaps as their backend.
Do my clients see that I referred them?
Referral is tracked via link — the client lands on the LegacyLeaps website and purchases directly. You don't need to disclose the commission, but FTC guidelines recommend disclosure when recommending products you're compensated for.
What happens if a client requests a refund?
If a client refunds within the 30-day window (or 14-day window for done-for-you), the commission is reversed. This is why commissions are held for 45 days before payout.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are excluded from the program. Referrals must be to clients or contacts separate from yourself.
